Oasys

New York-based Egyptian-founded Oasys Health raised USD 4.6 million in funding. This includes a USD 4 million seed round led by Pathlight Ventures, with participation from Twine Ventures and Better Ventures. It also includes USD 600 thousand in pre-seed funding from 1984 Ventures.

Looking forward, with the capital, it aims to enhance its AI-powered platform and deepen integrations with wearables and health apps. It also seeks to expand its engineering and data science teams. Additionally, it aims to expand its network of partnerships with health clinics, behavioral health centers, and Managed Service Organizations (MSOs). It also seeks to expand partnerships with universities and schools investing in long-term campus mental health infrastructure.

“This funding advances our mission to redefine how we clinically care for mental health by creating the operating system that makes care personalized, data-driven, and accessible to all,” said Hashem Abdou, co-founder and CEO at Oasys.

Mental Health

Founded in 2024 by Egyptian Hashem Abdou, Raffay Rana, and Dawit Fasika, Oasys is an AI-native operating system for modern mental health. It automates core workflows, including documentation, scribing, billing, scheduling, and insurance reimbursements. It also syncs with wearables and health apps such as Apple Watch, Oura Ring, Strava, and Flo. Additionally, it enables secure, real-time integration of physiological data, including activity, sleep, heart rate, glucose, and menstruation.

“Oasys is defining a new category in mental health care, moving beyond legacy EHRs and fragmented point solutions to build a truly comprehensive data backbone,” said Charley Ma at Pathlight Ventures.

In 2026, it aims to launch a robust outcomes measurement framework, providing clinicians with standards to track patient progress and prove therapy effectiveness over time. It also plans to expand its partner network to more than 1,000 enterprise-scale mental health organizations.
