Ewpartners Invests USD 50M in Leshines
Ewpartners, an international investment firm, has invested USD 50 million in Leshines, Lenovo’s supply chain solutions arm. This marks the first deal under Ewpartners Fund II and establishes a pioneering Saudi-Asia cross-border platform.
Accelerating Localization
Furthermore, the investment, announced at the Future Investment Initiative (FII), will accelerate Leshines’ localization efforts in Saudi Arabia. Just five months earlier, Lenovo and PIF-backed Alat unveiled a USD 2 billion strategic collaboration.
Ewpartners’ project is expected to attract over 3,000 wholesalers, retailers, and 200 light industrial manufacturers from China and Asia.
As ties between China and the Middle East strengthen, Ewpartners’ investment strategy is gaining recognition among key regional stakeholders.
Expansion into Saudi’s Logistics Hub and Broader Market Impact
Furthermore, Leshines is also considering expanding into the KSA-Sino Logistics Special Economic Zone at King Salman International Airport in Riyadh.
Additionally, this initiative, revealed by the Saudi Ministry of Transport and Logistics, spans four square kilometers and will feature logistics, industrial, and international business parks.
The zone will also allow global companies to manufacture in Saudi Arabia and distribute products worldwide.
