Extend Group Initiates USD26.6 Million Fund to Boost Saudi Startups

– Extend Group and Rassanah Financial have introduced the Extend Fund to support SME growth in Saudi Arabia, fostering innovation in digital media, arts, Arab culture, and media production.

– With a total value of 100 million Saudi Riyals, the fund is managed by a specialized team from Rassanah Financial, aiming to create employment opportunities and empower local talents to showcase and enrich Saudi culture globally.

– The fund announcement occurred during Extend Group’s 13th-anniversary celebration, where collaborations were formed with Intuit.lap Academy and Peaksource Group to establish the Extend Academy.

Extend Group, in collaboration with Rassanah Financial, has launched the Extend Fund to boost SME growth in Saudi Arabia, fostering innovation across digital media, arts, Arab culture, and media production.

With a total value of 100 million Saudi Riyals, the fund is under the management of a dedicated team from Rassanah Financial. 

This substantial investment not only aims to generate new employment opportunities but also seeks to empower local talents to showcase and enrich Saudi culture on the global platform, presenting an enticing investment prospect for firms and investors eager to contribute to the expansion of this ambitious endeavor.

The announcement of the fund took place during the 13th-anniversary celebration of Extend Group, hosted at Al-Bujairi Terrace in Diriyah. Concurrently, collaboration agreements were inked with Intuit.lap Academy for Design and Strategic Creativity, as well as Peaksource Group, specializing in digital innovation, to introduce the Extend Academy. 

This academy endeavors to provide comprehensive educational and training programs overseen by international experts, with a target of graduating 200 students annually across various specializations including creative design, strategic planning, communication consulting, digital innovation, and branding, with an average of 40 graduates per specialization.

Furthermore, Extend has launched the third edition of the Digital Performance Report for Ministries in Saudi Arabia, in conjunction with strategic partners such as Crowd Analyzer, Tailwind, and Emplifi. 

The report is dedicated to analyzing the digital media discourse of governmental entities, contributing significantly to keeping abreast of digital transformations and advancing digital government media in Saudi Arabia. It aims to serve as a benchmark for performance evaluation and facilitate research and studies in this domain.
