Hub71 Startups Raise Over USD 1.9B in Funding

Startups within Hub71, Abu Dhabi’s tech ecosystem, have collectively raised over USD 1.9 billion (AED 7 billion) in funding, generating more than USD 1.08 billion (AED 4 billion) in revenue, as shared by CEO Ahmad Ali Alwan.

Speaking at Abu Dhabi Business Week, Alwan highlighted the significant growth of Hub71, which now hosts over 300 startups from across the globe.

Supported by 150 partnerships, these startups benefit from resources that help secure investments and drive business growth.

Abu Dhabi’s Growing Appeal as a Global Investment Hub

Alwan shared that Hub71 has received more than 2,500 applications for its programs and plans to onboard 50 additional startups by the end of 2024. This reflects Abu Dhabi’s growing reputation as a leading destination for global investment and innovation.

In just five years, startups in Hub71 have created over 1,100 jobs, and generated USD 1 billion (AED 3.5 billion) in revenue.

These accomplishments underline Hub71’s role in driving Abu Dhabi’s tech and entrepreneurship ecosystem forward.

Strategic Partnership with Google

Hub71 has recently partnered with Google to launch the “Google for Startups” program, further expanding its capacity to support startup growth.

This partnership will provide startups within Hub71 access to global resources, networking opportunities, and tools for business expansion, enhancing their potential for international success.
