Marriott International has announced a new hospitality scheme in the most attractive destination ‘Madinah’, Saudi Arabia. The new scheme is bringing approx 4,400 new rooms across its eight hotel brands in Saudi Arabia.
The expected projects in Madinah came thanks to Marriott International’s commitment to the growth of the tourism sector in Saudi Arabia.
The global company signed an agreement with Rua Al Madinah Holding Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) to develop eight hotels in Madinah.
Satya Anand, President, Europe, Middle East & Africa, Marriott International: “There is a high demand for high-quality hotel accommodation in Madinah and we are happy to cooperate with Rua Al Madinah Holding Company”.
The company’s current portfolio includes 36 properties and more than 10,000 rooms across 11 of its hotels.
