Shaguf, Saudi’s EdTech startup, raises $400k in a pre-seed round

Shaguf, an EdTech startup that builds tech solutions to support the digitalization of the education industry, raised $400k in a pre-seed round.

“We plan to invest more in the tech products and solutions we have and acquire more of the EdTech market share, we want to onboard more instructors and learning materials, ” Ahmed Alrashed, founder and CEO of Shaguf, told WAYA.

Shaguf was founded in September 2021 and it created a community where instructors and students engage in an interactive online learning experience. The startup rolled out products and solutions that enable instructors to create recorded lectures, interactive tests, digital notes, and question banks.

The startup has onboarded 550 instructors that helped more than 11,000 students that spent more completed 100k learning hours on the platform.
