Many of us are still obliged to leave their houses during quarantine. To ensure safety measures are being put to action, Egyptian health-tech startup Shamseya introduces Salametna, an online tool that conducts surveys to rating how equipped public spaces are to fight the spread of COVID-19.
“Any person going to the mall, restaurant, shop, or even a barber, any public space, can easily and in 20 seconds answer some questions regarding the safety measures and submit them on the website. Now anyone going anywhere, can make an informed, safe decision on where to go.”
Laila ElSheikh, Business Development Officer, Shamseya
The results get posted as ratings on Salametna.com, to measure how ready public spaces all over Egypt are to prevent COVID-19 from spreading.
Shamseya is known to bring patients on top of the healthcare pyramid with its digital solutions. Salametna is only but an extension to Eghospitals.com. In 2017, they launched The Community Monitoring Portal of Health Service Provision in Egypt to monitor the efficiency of hospitals nationwide.
