Tunisia’s CoaChess secures US$171,000 pre-seed funding to build AI-powered chess gaming

Tunisian startup CoaChess has secured a pre-seed funding worth US$ 191,000 from the France-based information technology consulting company, Omicrone.

Founded in 2021, the company’s goal is to provide an AI-powered chess gaming products for all level.

CoaChess’s founder, Iheb Kaabi, expressed gratitude for the support and guidance of the company’s supporters, saying, “We are committed to continuing our journey and working to make chess more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.”

The company provides tutorials for beginners and advanced techniques to develop players’ skills, so that players will able to organize internal and inter-club tournaments.

CoaChess’s most innovative offering is its intelligent bot, which can mimic top chess champions and other influential figures in the history of the game.
