BTECH launches “b_labs” a hub for tech talents in Egypt

BTECH, an integrated omnichannel retailer and consumer finance platform, launched a technology hub in Egypt named “b_labs” to serve as “a transformation and digitization engine of BTECH” according to the platform’s statement.

b_labs is designed to serve a wide range of business verticals within the group that includes retail, e-commerce, fintech, logistics, b2b, distribution, and many others.

The Saudi Egyptian Investment Company recently a 34% minority stake in B.TECH. SEIC is a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund.
