Geidea, a FinTech platform, signed a strategic partnership with Visa, a world leader in digital payments, to facilitate digital payments across Egypt’s merchant network.

Visa will invest in adding new payment solutions through Geidea’s Point-Of-Sale (POS) terminals, to provide seamless and secure payment solutions for merchants and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across the country.

The services to be provided to merchants and SMEs in Egypt include pay-by-phone services and electronic trading services.
