Originally launched as a free service, Mozilla Hubs has introduced a $20 monthly subscription for people working remotely.

As described on its official website, you can use Mozilla Hubs to “host a virtual event, create a museum or digital gallery, build a space for your favorite hobbies, open a classroom to connect with your students, host a social hour for your team, or have a meeting on a planet in outer space.”

The new paid subscription offers a significant expansion to the basic offering, giving users will have access to a variety of management tools, privacy and security features that customize Hub access, and the ability to brand the Hub’s home page and color theme.

Mozilla Hubs is planning on introducing more paid tiers, with more storage and the ability to host more people in a room, and a free version down the line.
