Saudi’s Alfanar to invest $533m in Egypt’s energy and telecom sectors

Alfanar, Saudi company specialized in manufacturing electrical construction products, EPC solutions for conventional and renewable power plants, signed two agreements worth $533m in the Egyptian energy and telecommunications sectors.

The first agreement was with the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) to produce wind energy and green hydrogen, and the second agreement with Benya Group in the field of information technology and digital solutions.

The Executive Vice President of alfanar said that agreement with AOI aims to export turbines and wind power generation requirements to Africa and the Middle East and Benya’s agreement aims to raise the efficiency of infrastructure of data centres and cybersecurity in Egypt.
