What happened? Elsewedy University of Technology (SU Tech) has announced the launch of TechTank, a competition targeting talented high school students. It will give them an opportunity to present their ideas to a panel of industry experts and investors

“ TechTank represents a golden opportunity for high school students to bring their ideas to light and transform them into practical solutions that meet the requirements of the industry of the future. We firmly believe that supporting young entrepreneurs and promoting a culture of innovation are two fundamental pillars for building a prosperous future for Egypt.”

What is the prize? Winners will not only receive a monetary prize but also gain the opportunity to turn their innovative concepts into real projects.

Eng. Ahmed Elsewedy further clarified, “We are excited to announce a monetary prize of EGP 150,000 for the creators of the most applicable idea that can be developed into a tangible project.”

Who is eligible? The competition is open to eleventh and twelfth-grade students. Each school can nominate up to three teams, with each team consisting of three members. 

Participants will compete in various fields, including information technology, transportation engineering, data science and artificial intelligence. In addition, to, cybersecurity, product design, energy, agriculture engineering, game development, and other innovative sectors. 

The project submission deadline is March 20, 2025. Final presentations and winner announcements will take place on April 14, 2025.
