  • Over the next five years, the app aims to reach 11.4 million users in Egypt, especially with the expanding digital payments sector.
  • Key features include instant cashback, loyalty rewards, and financial management tools.

Trevi has recently entered Egypt’s digital payment landscape to tap into the growing demand for convenient and secure financial solutions. In February 2025, the app was launched offering a range of features to help users manage their finances.

Trevi Offers Secure Transactions

As the Egyptian government pushes for financial inclusion, Trevi provides an accessible digital platform that aims to address consumers’ needs. The app includes traditional financial services and loyalty rewards to bring added value to users’ transactions.

Trevi’s service offers secure payments and partners with Paymob to support payments via credit cards, debit cards, and QR codes. Soon, the integration of NFC technology will be available catering to a wide variety of payment preferences.

Trevi’s loyalty program is a standout feature that offers instant cashback, rewards with no cap, and personalized financial insights. A  Family Wallet feature will be available for households to manage their combined spending.

“Trevi is transforming how consumers manage their finances by combining secure transactions with innovative loyalty programs tailored to their spending habits.”

Antony Sobhy, Trevi CEO.

Beyond Egypt

Trevi is planning to reach 11.4 million users in Egypt over the next five years. Meanwhile,  Projections estimate $2.8 billion in total payments by 2029.

The company is focusing on Egypt; however, it plans to expand into Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Morocco, and more countries. This expansion is part of Trevi’s strategy to enhance the fintech sector across the North Africa and Levant regions.

Trevi formed partnerships with a variety of merchants across different sectors, including grocery retailers, dining, and electronics.

The company is planning to introduce other features including Trevi Spaces, which will help users manage shared expenses.
