Water tech startup Wisewell raises $2m in a pre-Seed round

Wisewell, sustainability-driven consumer water technology company, raised $2m in a pre-Seed funding round bringing total funding to $2.6 million to date.

The round was led by BECO Capital, an early-stage venture capital fund that backs early-stage tech entrepreneurs across a wide range of sectors.

“The way we deliver and drink water is broken. Wisewell enters the market during a time when the region is placing an emphasis on sustainability including Dubai Can and Abu Dhabi’s single-use plastic bag ban. We’re revolutionizing water consumption through complete transparency, sustainability, and convenience housed in a beautifully designed product. We’re grateful to be working with investors who believe that the sustainable solution to healthy, great-tasting water lies within Wisewell,” said co-founder and Executive Chairman Sami Khoreibi.

The startup will officially accept pre-orders in the USA beginning April 13th. Customers who preorder their Wisewell before July will receive $100 off their Wisewell and an additional six-month filter subscription for free which already has a waitlist of more than 2,500 people across the US for delivery this July. It will be available for sale in the UAE in the fall of 2022.
