Avidea, a Tunisian digital insurance startup, raised 2 million dinars, which amounts to almost $696k, in a Pre-Series A funding round. The investment round was led by Capsa Capital Partners, a private equity firm, and the specialist investment vehicle 216 Capital Fund which is managed by 216 Capital Adventures.
Avidea is a startup specializing in the digitalization of vehicle claims handling and anti-fraud. It was founded in 2017 with a goal to assist insurance companies in lowering the cost of automotive claims while improving the customer experience.
This funding will add additional talent to the Avidea team, as well as support the expansion of the product’s functional scope and new markets entry.
