B Healthcare Investments acquired 51% stake in the Egyptian IVF Center for EGP 126m

B Healthcare Investments, B Investments’ subsidiary, acquired 51% stake in The Egyptian IVF Center as its first investment in the specialized healthcare sector. The transaction is valued at EGP 126 million and obtained all the necessary regulatory approvals.

The private equity firm established its healthcare subsidiary in December last year with a capital of EGP 1 billion, which intends to invest in leading companies operating in the Egyptian health sector.

The Egyptian IVF Center is one of the leading fertility centers and the first medical facility offering fertility treatment in Egypt. The company offers its patients the full spectrum of fertility services with high medical and ethical standards.
