Get to Know MENA’s Most Notable Startup Funding Rounds this February

This February witnessed a distinguished a number of funding rounds, through which several startups succeeded in raising investments totaling to more than $276 million. The funding rounds varied between the areas of FinTech, supply chains and delivery technology, e-commerce and artificial intelligence.

In this report, we showcase the most prominent of these funding rounds:

Saudi Arabia’s Trukker came in top with $96m in its second funding round. Nana, Saudi-based e-commerce platform, rasised $50m and Mozn, startup specialized in supply chain, raised $10m.

UAE’s Hubpay, FinTech startup, was able to raise $20m in a series A round. Qlub, FinTech startup, raised $17 million in a seed round. Pyypl, blockchain technology-based company, raised a $11 million in a series A funding round

In Egypt, Thndr, FinTech startup, raised $20m in a series A round, Yalla Fel Sekka raised $7m in a Series A round and Wasla Browser, ecommerce super-app, raised $9 million.
