McDonald’s, Starbucks, Pepsi and Coca-Cola suspend business in Russia

Mcdonald’s, Starbucks, Pepsi and Coca-Cola all announced that they would suspend their operations in Russia. In a statement, McDonald’s said that it would temporarily close its 850 restaurants in the country.

Starbucks is temporarily closing hundreds of its stores, PepsiCo will also suspend all advertising in Russia and stop the sale of its drinks, but they will continue to sell essentials such as milk and baby food.

These are not the only companies that have suspended their operations in Russia. Netflix, Visa and MasterCard also halt their sales in Russia amid its conflict with Ukraine.
