Saudi tech Nybl, a science-based artificial intelligence (AI) company, and Basserah, specializing in data and robotic process automation, have finalized a merger. 

The strategic move is poised to accelerate regional and global growth by establishing a vertically integrated data-AI pipeline.

Under the merger, Nybl’s brand remains unchanged, while Basserah’s resources and expertise are fully integrated into Nybl’s operations. Noor Alnahhas, Co-Founder and CEO of Nybl, expressed enthusiasm for welcoming Basserah’s team and assets, anticipating enhanced offerings and bolstering regional technological capacity.

Basserah, a subsidiary of NOMD Holding, has a proven track record in leveraging data and automation across various sectors. Abdulaziz Almalki, former CEO of Basserah and now Chief Revenue Officer at Nybl, highlighted the synergies created by merging with Nybl, aiming to deliver comprehensive solutions from data management to AI.

The partnership aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and aims to advance the region’s digital economy. Mohammed AlKhushail, Chairman of NOMD Holding and Nybl, emphasized the commitment to shaping regional digital economies and enhancing competitiveness.

Nybl’s Co-founder and COO, Mohammed Shono, stressed the long-term goal of using technology for positive transformation and democratizing AI. 

The merger signifies a step towards establishing Nybl and Basserah as global technological leaders, driving meaningful change through AI innovation.
