Riyadh to host second edition of global AI summit in September

The Saudi Data And Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) is organizing the second edition of its global AI summit at King Abdulaziz International Conference Centre in Riyadh from September 13 to 15 on the theme of “artificial intelligence for the good of humanity.”

The summit will discuss a number of topics related to the field of AI technology, its challenges and its aspirations, its applications in different sectors, including smart cities, human capacity development, health care, transportation, energy, culture and heritage, environment and economic mobility.

Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf, president of SDAIA, explains: “AI technologies have begun to be used in our daily lives and will have a significant impact in all aspects of life.”

The first edition of the summit was a huge success, seeing the participation of more than 200 experts and 13,000 people over the course of its two-day run.
