Uber Is Testing Incorporating Taxis in Egypt

Uber is currently testing the incorporation of taxis into its app in Egypt, following the success of the product in other markets in the Middle East the company revealed in a press release.

The move is part of Uber’s ongoing efforts to develop Uber’s technology to meet the different needs of the Egyptian market. Taxis are an integral part of the transportation system in Egypt, and Uber hopes to meet the different needs of the Egyptian market by adding to them to their platform. while continuing to create economic opportunities for drivers and evolving the way we facilitate affordable reliable transport solutions for riders.
