Banque Misr recently signed a partnership with noon payments portal to provide and develop electronic collection services, using bank cards and e-wallets via a QR code.

This partnership within the framework of the bank’s efforts to expand e-payments and make them more available to different demographics in order to facilitate the beneficiaries and provide them with services.

“The signing of this protocol comes in line with the bank’s belief that the technological development represented in websites and smartphone applications has become today the fastest variable among the variables that affect the global economy,” Hend Fahmy, Head of the Retail Banking Sector at Banque Misr, said.

This also came within the bank’s vision that digital transformation has become an important stage, especially in light of the emergency conditions imposed by the pandemic on the world, which stimulated the use of digital platforms.

“Noon Payments aims to facilitate digital financial transactions and ensure customers are able to access an integrated set of services that meet their growing needs, through quick setup processes and an advanced and practical API, to ensure a smooth and easy customer experience,” Mostafa Maher, Regional Director of Noon Payments, said.
