Sharjah Media City (Shams) has launched a new venture builder called Shams Valley to launch, build and scale startups in the media and technology sectors.
Shams Valley is launching in collaboration with venture-building studio Grow Valley. This partnership allows Shams to utilize Grow Valley’s experience from the startup idea stage to developing them into viable businesses that cater to market requirements, in addition to ensuring their growth in the future.
“Our goal is to build an integrated system to launch a new generation of companies and play our part in shaping the future of media in Sharjah and the region. Shams Valley will be another step in our journey to establish a media industry that is rooted in advanced technology and innovation in Sharjah, the UAE, and the region,” Khalid Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of Shams said.
The newly-launched company will serve as an integrated platform that brings together media talents, entrepreneurs, and experts to establish media projects supported by advanced technology.
The mission of Shams Valley is to evaluate ideas for startups in the media and technology sectors and establish a promising media sector with progressive ideas.
