UAE’s MContent raises $5m in a seed round

MContent raised $5 million in a seed round led by Gargash Group and Daman Investments with the participation of DIFC and Planet N Investments, bringing the company’s market capital to $10 million.

MContent is a digital content and crowdfunding marketplace via cryptocurrency and NFT founded in the UAE by Omair Masoum. The platform represents the digital content market powered by blockchain technology that provides a community for talented content creators and film producers around the world to raise seed funding for their businesses via NFT technologies and cryptocurrencies.

The platform has already funded 11 production projects, including a documentary film on Bitcoin, which will be broadcast next month on the Dutch broadcasting platform Insight TV, in addition to its cooperation with the platform to produce a series on blockchain technology.
