Egypt’s Public Authority for Health Care announced completion of the automation of medical services in 135 outpatient clinics, 11 internal departments in hospitals, 129 laboratory systems (LIS) and 30 electronic archiving systems for radiology (PACS).
It has also activated the tele-medicine system in Port Said Hospital and the Emergency and Microsurgery Hospital in Abu Khalifa in Ismailia.
Morever, the digital pathology technique (digital diagnosis of tumors) has been introduced for the first time in Egypt at El-Nasr Specialized Hospital for Children in Port Said.
The Public Authority of Health has also announced its 6 main pillars for the new fiscal year, one of which is completing its digital transformation plan.
